David, the piston is 83.5mm and I think it had not been apart before now.

pretty sure I saw one of those bashplates advertised somewhere recently. I've just had a look in the usual places I look but can't see it. Suggest you watch eBay especially the USA and UK
Are you wanting original correct TY175B muffler or just something that will fit and work?
Daryl, photos will really help your Cause!
Here is a photo of Donna's
HONDA TLM200/220 bashplate, one of Donna's spares went to a mate for his

1984 TY 350, apparently it was a simple modification to make it fit. Hope this Helps?

Hydrablast finish on cast aluminium

I just had some

TY parts hydrablasted and took photos to get peoples feedback on what they thought of how it looks
This is the magneto cover. The one that is more shiny looks like it has been (years ago and by someone else) stripped of the original

clear lacquer and then polished. The less-shiny one is the hydrablast finish

Hey David .... Only 3 years ago at Denman did My mighty "A Model" cease to progress for the first time ever .... POINTS .... Not touched for 40 years. Bloody Yamaha .... You'd reckon they would make them to last better than that ... I'm never buying another one!
Alastair.

Here is another option along the lines of hydrablasting

Hydrablasted is nicer, it look maintained, not showroom ( or show off ).

Thanks Guy. I'll take another photo showing the casings when the motor is fully assembled.
Another decision is what look for the cylinder and head finning. At present it is fresh bead blast finish and I'm trying to decide whether to leave it like that, or replicating the original Yamaha look of black with bare polished fin edges

Hi everyone,
David, I really like that hydroblast look as well.
Greg, I have been looking for some parts for other bikes and parts for some friends. Anyway, I remember looking at your "plate" of kickstarters with the broken Italjet kickstarter and I came across this that you maybe interested in! I recall this being on my all green Italjet, and I replaced it with a new one.

Hi everyone,
Greg, I found this as well. It was taken at an Arena Trial at the Beenleigh Showground held by Logan River.
Sorry about the quality. I couldn't get the photo any better.
