I'm vacillating a bit up here about which bike to ride at Stanthorpe this weekend.
The front one has had some work that Billy Gough suggested a few weeks ago and does feel great. The back one was pretty good at the Bax trial but some jetting and suspension work since then has it running like a dream.

Choices choices choices.

If it makes things easier David ... you're welcome to park the "also ran" in my shed for a while ... that's if it makes things easier.

Greg's bike for Stanthorpe

Post by David Lahey »

Well Greg you did ask over on the OZVMX forum about borrowing a twinshock for Stanthorpe, and you have said repeatedly that "Rust is the new bling" so here are the two most suitable twinshocks I could find.
Please let me know soon which one you want prepared for you to ride.
There isn't much time left for the finer detail of bike setup but I'll do my best

Hi Everyone,

David, hard decisions and so little time but I think :suzuki RV 90 because if it balances on its own, that might be a good advantage.Hope you didn't waste your 3 wishes as I think you will need them!

On the other hand, those :yamaha TYs look pretty good, I might have to switch Marques? Either one would be fine as I have ridden both and although quite different, both ride Beautifully!

Stanthorpe Classic Twinshock & ACM

Post by Greg Harding »

Hi Everyone,

Just on a personal note, I wish to thank MTCQ for stepping up and holding the Inaugural Stanthorpe Classic and what an event it Was!

How good is it to only see old bikes at a 2 day event and not a Radiator to be seen, just the made to last quality stuff that we will be riding for years to Come!

There are quite a few people as it turns out that want to ride both quality old bikes and Modern, splitting the QLD Titles gave me a chance to dust off my Modern and give sybella/Baxy a run for his Money! Just 1 clean separated us on Modern bikes, maybe next time Tony?

This is an excellent way to complement the Twinshock Masters where something tells me there might be more wet Stuff?

David, sometimes it takes me a while to work out what you mean but I think I have the cardboard box cases sorted now with the "obligatory" Basket holding Everything!
