Somewhere north of Sydney would be good but if not possible Pacific Park might be suitable. I guess they charge to use it though.
Make sure the riders are on Twinshocks as I dont know that I would be much help to someone on a modern bike.

OK thanks Peter. Twin shocks it is. I'll ask Keith Marchant about prices to run the school at Pacific Park. Otherwise I'll just have to travel to Singleton for the school. Have you asked any Trials riders from the Denman Club if they were interested?

Excellent idea - I'm up for it, it would be an ideal opprtunity to see if I can still ride my old 198b.

The colour photo is me riding at the 2005 Queensland Titles at "The Overflow" near Boonah on the very same TY175B.
My sister recently found this colour photo from a Logan River MTC trial at Blunt's Quarry, Mt Cotton, near Brisbane - probably in 1977. I know the riding style is particularly gumby and I'm wearing a Bultaco jersey while riding a Yamaha, but it is the only colour photo I have of me riding that long-suffering TY175 in a trials section from the 1970s.

So ... I scrolled back to find this thread from so long ago.
The two photos show the passing of time.
The older photo is my mate and myself ... Proud young blokes in our mid 20s.
Next photo shows the next generation ... Proud young blokes in their mid 20s.
The bikes are as fresh as ever, the only change an upgrade to the front end of the TY350. Both bikes still sport their original plastics and engines never attended to.
The Plum tree is perhaps twice my age and stoically soldiers on.
The big black dog soldiered on for a bloody long time, but sent his apologies as he was unable to attend yesterday's photos session
