20 years, pre Ethanol fuel I suspect.
Hope you put in one that will cope with it.
I use 98 but there nasties including E in it apparently.
There are three filters. one on the tap, which has 8 small inlet holes, one after market, in line, and a gauze one on the banjo inlet at the carby.
I thought the material was dissolving into the fuel, as it was a red colour and the 2st mix I use is blue.
Then I remembered I was using up some old RED Castrol TT I found in the shed

I took this picture yesterday at the Golden Valley Cotswold Cups trial,a lovely 30 odd mile road based event with 30 traditional sections going back to the 1920's. My old banger is 3rd from the left.(Or right...) There were plenty of other old bikes there and some more modern twinshocks, but it is predominantly a British bike trial.

lovely looking Galp.
Better bulk up a bit to handle it.
I suggest pies and beer
Nice looking line up of heavy weights.

Not sure how I will go at upcoming trials, as the Murwillumbah Floods, swamped my 4x4, safe, well above previous flood heights, but filled and killed it.
Water got up to the windows. 24 hrs later, when I could get to it.
Back on my 250 Honda and work Cruiser Ute, when raining.
I only lost my car. Others lost EVERYTHING.
See how I go.

Whitehillbilly, our thoughts are with you, hope you all get back to normal as soon as possible.Friends of ours here in the UK had 6ft deep floods in their house, a terrible mess and took the best part of a year to get right.
