Problem solved for next year! I've just taken delivery of a very nice TY 175, assembled it from the crate this afternoon, added fuel and 2nd kick it was ready to go. There is no-way my modern bike would start so easily after such a journey!!

We just need to find one for my father now, he's trying to track-down his old bike which he sold to a work mate some years ago after owning it from new. We're kicking ourselves for letting it go all those years ago but we are hopeful we will find it.

Not much hope of that Tharyn.
Luckily for the rest of us, Tharyn's husband was armed with a good camera and took this sequence of photos when Tharyn accidentally got on the wrong bike and rode it through a section at Brooweena
