Ron Chadwick, on his Girder forked, 350 rigid, in the same class a me on my 197 villiers engined James. Mick Butler, on his rigid CZ ( 150 villiers motor ) Chris Kitson on his 350 Ariel sprung rear end, were some examples of the bikes being ridden in a well supported Classic class, 20 years ago. The day was about getting out, have a laugh, and a beer/rum/lemonade at the end of the day.
Not who walked off with The Trophy.
No wonder the Classics class is so small Today.

This is my no.2 Cub in the UK.
Replica Cub yokes from Alan Whitton, standard Cub sliders chromed, plastic mudguards as used by all except those who prefer show bikes, standard Cub footrest mounts, homemade front mudguard bracket.
Not too much to dislike there David

Well said,and anyone brave enough to keep a Cub working long term deserves a medal.... Are there many C15/B40 BSA's in use in Oz ?

I can't recall a single C15 or B40 competing in Qld over the last 30 years although a C15 might have appeared now and again.
A C15 won the Aussie Classic title a couple of years ago but he was from down south, I think it was the year after the 1965 Bultaco M10 was allowed to compete the year before,,,, but thats another story.
Its been mainly Cubs and Bantam classics in Qld lately with the occasional Jawa, Francis Barnett and other Villiers powered bikes, good bunch of guys though.

I had a chance to buy a complete and running C15T, on the goldcoast 25 years ago for $500. Thought it was a bit pricey !!!!
