I've got carb issues now. Left the fuel on last night (that will teach me) and it pretty well drained the fresh liter I added yesterday all over the garage floor
Gave it a few kicks and it's pissing fuel out the exhaust joint.. Thinking the needle and seat are shagged?!? Any other reason it would poor through the carb like that?
the fuel tap needs to be off regardless of what carb is fitted...its just that the Mikuni when fitted to the Rev3 seems particularly prone to leaking overnight....

Digging up an old thread, sorry.. I've just run into some more carb issues with the REV3 and it's got me stumped... Last ride the bike was perfect. Cleaned, put away for 2-3 weeks and when I got it out last Monday for some reason it was 'running on' bad. Not really sure how else to explain it. I have some video uploading at the minute, will post here as it may help diagnose. Straight away the bike didn't sound right, when left to idle would gradually wind down and stall.
Between rides I changed out the leaky fuel tap in the tank. The old one (and tank) were full of crap. Flushed it all out and cleaned the fuel filter with petrol. The only thing I can think of is possibly some of this has made it into the carb?
Any help getting this sorted would be much appreciated.
