New upper rear engine mount plates. You can see how close the motor and swingarm are now. They are now 35mm closer than std

This is the new lower frame section. It bends around the swingarm and tuck into the cavity in the back of the motor between the oil pump and kick started housings. It's made from two pieces of 20x20 RHS so it's stronger than a piece of 20x40 due to the extra internal stiffeners.

Here the top and bottom frame tubes have had 35mm removed. It's awaiting final alignment of the top tube and sleeves to be made. Excuse the background.

The frame has been welded and most part assembled to check fitment of parts. The bike is just on 50mm shorter than std but the swingarm is yet to be lengthened. I don't have a photo with a std frame to compare.

I`m hoping these are for an Italjet Scott and not the Piuma. If not then someone stuffed up rather badly. #-o

Very interesting Brent, back in 2015 I was using increments of 15 mm and in 2020 you are using increments of 20 mm! Excellent explanation photos with great depiction, you certainly have an eye for detail! There is a fair bit of effort that goes into these modifications, a lot more than I think most people realize. All this time I thought I had the patent on adding random flatbar/ plate to the bottom of saw horses to take out the rock? You have reminded me about the Ups and Downs of modifying bikes......

You have stimulated me to ride the SQUEAMISH for the last 3 weekends and I am loving it. The creeks where we have been riding are all flowing beautifully, crystal clear with a rocky bottom. There has been enough water to flush all of the gullies and rearrange all of the logs opening up new lines to ride.

Just for you Brent, hopefully some motivation :
