Did I mention that I was showing symptoms? If you were wondering what the photo of Anvil and Forge etcetera was about, it was the payment/swap for this, win win!

Here is the latest, let's see how good the fanatics are with working out which model? The tank is fibreglass if that helps!

I can understand that Greg is saying a is about as motivating as a dead fox, and is perhaps equivalent to a pile of scrap metal, but I'm curious about the significance of the carton of eggs. Are they for throwing at Bultacos?
I be thinking 158. The downtube indicates the shorter 250 model but the triples, at least the bottom one looks wrong for the 158. Perhaps a 182 or a bitza.
I'm guessing Graham will know.

So Greg sent me a photo of the frame number on this bike so I know the frame is a M182 which is the model after the M158. It does look like a Bing on it which only came on the 350 Sherpa Ts. So it may have a 350 motor in it. Greg that Frontera you rode in the 70s would of been a M215. They were the MK11 370 Fronteras. Blue and yellow and they look really nice. They also go very nicley as well. The M213 is what your old Alpina was. So I`ll say again!

Ah yes Graham I do tend to get model numbers wrong at times. Yes it was definitely a MK11 370 Frontera. It seems that Greg is getting more hooked on Bultacos too with this mystery bike. I do hope it's going to emerge from his wonderbike factory as a competition bike at some point
Swing arm doesn’t look like a 182 The shock mounts look like 158/159. I think the 250 swing arms were shorter than the 350’s for these Soler models. 250 air boxes are convex sided instead of concave on the 350, 250 flywheel is the lighter 41-51 ? ,350 has the heavier 41-52 ? Just noticed the slots in the bash plate which started with 182/183 previously they had round holes
