All the pimping and polishing I've been hearing about for the Brooweena unofficial concours d elegance (Scorp's Kawasakis, Starky's Yamahas, Jeff's Yamahas, Hondas and maybe some Spanish stuff, Mark Reed's and Wazza's RL250s, Lev's luminous TY250, Hagsta's KT and Cota, Smack's and Martin's TL125s, Cedric's Cotas and now Frank's exotic Honda something) it has finally got to me.
I was intending riding a bike that has 6 years worth of battle scars but I have relented and am in the process of making it tidier and looking a bit special for Brooweena. Included in the makeover are styling hints taken from Starky's silver TY175 but not too much of a radical departure from the original (Yamaha) - look out rocks, here I come.

All this talk of "Shine and Show" is getting me all excited. I may just get out the cold chisel and lump hammer and see if I can crack off enough baked on mud to let some of my bike show through. As for shine, that'll have to wait for another year. My bike may be rough and ugly, but that's just to match my lack of talent. Anyway, I'll see you all there.

Mark, even if they are glistening at the beginning, if the weather was like last year, all the bikes will have a nice coating of cow poo and mud soon enough.

I think I'll just have to polish up the gold rims on mine to get it up to scratch for the show and shine.

Mmmmmmmmm cow poo....... I thought we were meant to treat each one of those as a roundabout, not use them as a target.

And as for your gold rims Phoenix75, the only precious metal on mine is the precious little bits of steel between the rust that holds it all together.

Hi Bogwheel,
Tiaro is not far from Maryborough, so I would suggest you come on to Maryborough and out from there. The road is good.
See you at Brooweena, hope they have catered for a big crowd.
Cedric

More Brooweena photos in the gallery section.
As you can probably work out, we started off trying to get them all in one line but it was too long to fit in the space so ended up with two rows
