Remove the aluminium bracket for the rear brake, does that mean it really had no purpose ?

Definitely some wizardry on the stator cover. Looks to be very custom and too shiny.

Rear brake backing plate now anchored to the swingarm via a slot in the plate and tab on swingarm?

Very interesting that you can spot where I added a little bit to the middle of the "S" and you can't spot big nipples re acropolis1989

Yes I removed the torque arm and Yes it had a purpose, see photos:

Rooney wrote:Definitely some wizardry on the stator cover. Looks to be very custom and too shiny.
Yes, the access panel is there for clutch adjustment and I must be terrible at changing gears because the gear lever decided to do an adjustment! So I saved the pointy "S" and made a new panel.

Ah the NJB connoisseur. The Trikshox came first and I asked for another pair exactly the same but he had run out of stickers.

Yes, I thought you might find that interesting! It all started when I was given some new old stock parts includingthat brakeplate.

There are other differences that haven't been picked up and I don't want to tyre anyone with the finer points. So I will simply call it hiding thingss in plain sight.
