To get a bit of an idea of how different the bikes Mick rode were from the TY250s that Yamaha sold the public, here are pictures of one of Mick Andrews works trials bikes from the mid 1970s.

Hey David

Thanks again for great information! I have not picked the bike up yet but it did have a 250 sticker on the exhaust cover. Looked lick a pretty standard TY to me except for the paint job.

What do you think of these Aussie twinshock trials beauties? The "Maico" is owned by Mark Firkin.

Here's a couple of images of my 242 Cota.
Started as some basket cases & got a glamour.
I managed to finish 2nd in the Post Classic 2003 Aussie C/ships on it.
Toby Coleman from Canberra bought it off me in 2004 & he has sold it on since then.
It would be nice to know where & how she is today.

Gary,
your 242 is now owned by a member of Denman MCC. is still in good condition and needs only some minor maitenance to get it running well again.

Hi All
This is a photo of Brendan Johnson riding his dads M199A 350 Bultaco
at the 2007 Australian Moto-Trials Championships, Brendan won the the Post Classic
class that year.
The other photo is of Chris Herbert.
Riding my M92 Bultaco 350 at the 2003 Australian Moto-Trials Championships
held at Mt Bolton (Ballarat) Victoria.

Hi All
Chris Herbert has asked me to post some photos of his bikes.
The 349 was his first trials bike he thinks that it belonged to
Steve (Butch) Johnson.
The Cota 49 he thinks it a 1975 model ?
This bike is like brand new it has only 6km on the speedo .

have had this bike for a few years and have decided it's time to use it

it's one of rob markens jobs

M199 - sammy miller highboy frame - electronic ignition - lectron powerjet carb (soon to be back to bing)

the twinshock masters will probably be my first serious ride on it to see how it (and my body) stacks up.
