Thought it was time I added a couple more pickies from todays practice. It's hot work up in the old

Let's see if we can steer this back on topic. Here is Kevin Z at the 02 Aust Champs. Its a bit hard to see in this shot, but in this section they had to drop off this huge rock step, do a sharp 180 degree turn and straight back up.

thats a great shot... it's almost vertical!

Looks like it might be more than vertical! It looks like his back wheel will hit the face on the undercut part of the rock.

yeah i forgot my camera but Peter took some photos on his phone so I think he's workin on getting them up tonight.

Trango - I think you're right! after having a second look it does indeed look worse than i initially thought. The other thing to is that photos never seem as steep as wen ur actually there either, so you can imagine what that was like to ride over!

This was the one of the sections on day 2 of the Aussie champs that really sorted the men from the boys. Straight after popping over the top of this rock they had very little room for recovery because there was a tricky sharp rh turn allowing virtually nil margin of error. This is one on the trio of Kiwi's, Jason Baker. All three of them placed top 10 if I remember correctly.
