The sensor end pickes up the magnetism of the ring. It's going to be a matter of getting those in the right place.
The just stick on. I gues the side tabs are for cable tying if you need it. In this case I'm cutting them off.

When it's tight flip it up,and it wants to stay there
One around the outside to tighten it all up and hold in place
give the metal a good wipe of thinners to make it grease free and very lightly stick on and test the position till it cuts the motor just when you pull the brakes on.

I personally don't like messy wiring so let's have a go at making it nice.
First up find a spot where it will sit naturally and look ok. Then hold it in place.
The cable ties look a little bulky so I will experiment with making shrink tube bands.
Slip it over every thing.
Shrink it down.
Then tie the tab on.
Well it sort of holds on.

The plane bands make a good replacement for cable ties.
Revised plan is to make a different type of holding on method.

The easiest way to put on and take off hand grips is to float them on.
I used short handle bar ends so that if you get a puncture the easiest way to fix it is to flip the bike over and rest it on the handlebars. This can't be done if the highest thing is the display.
For the other side I experemented with electrical tape and cable ties for the best position.
The brake sensor wire is masarged into position to pick up and run beside where the switch block wire comes out.

For the best way to organise the wiring harness sensors and display I experemented with squaring blocking it
Flat mounting it
With cable ties like so.
Then a strip of tape behind to keep in place.
But the winner is square as it looks neatest when all the connectors are sorted.

All in place with all wires in nplace and excess length organised. By leaving the front brake line black it disappears and the white ones draw attention away.
No line touches anything in its travel.

All the lines along the frame are organised in a way that gives minimal bends. The gear shifte cable gets priority as it goes from right side at the back to left side front. Being a cable line any bends are to much. The brake line also swaps sides and the wiring harness weaves through.
First test ride was in the mud. So much black clay it clogged the wheels, caked around the motor and sprocket and the chain kept coming off.
After a good hose and then wash its all clean. If it can't take a good hosing then it's not very waterproof.
Iv learned a few things:
Top speed is 45kph. It does it easy enough and is limited by the small front sprocket.
The big back sprocket could be bigger as the motor won't take a smaller front sprocket
Up steep tracks it's still a bit fast for technical stuff.
The motor delivers its power a bit like a petrol motor just much weaker. It's max spin speed after all the internal reduction gearing is 160 rpm. There is no tako but let's say up to 40 rpm is wont give full power say 50% then after that it away. The reason for this I guess is at low revs the motor could burn out if your putting full throttle into it. You still have to use the gears to keep it spinning and not load up by drawing high watts at low revs.
Full load is deffently 1500 watts which is to fast for peddling in any gear if you are in that gears best rev range.
Also need bigger brakes, side stand and some tools and stuff

A while ago I ordered this side stand for a white bike. Well now it's time to use and it's ugly.
Ugly and does not fit. Well that's enough reason to look further.
I his one came from the bike shop and does not fit either but it's not ugly.
Not fit I can work on.

First problem is its range of movement is to small going forward and back
Pop the pin out and have a look what's in there?
All that happens is the spring goes to one side when this way and pushes up to hold in place.
