Hi Everyone,

David, I am not sure which model Craig Brown's bike was except that the seat was wrong.

Chippy, I have been working on your :ossa wheels, the front rim was not exactly mint:

About the same number of flat edges. Had to make a straightening jig and I hammered out the flats on the anvil.

Greg, What have you done ? Chippy's front wheel had been expertly crafted in such a way that the bike acted just the same over rough uneven ground as it did on smooth flat ground. Now he's going to be able to tell the difference.

Wheel building is contagious (and its raining heavily) so today I'm assembling some wheels for a Yamaha using 1980s era gold anodised Akront trials bike rims, which would have been what was fitted to new Italjet Twinshocks and maybe some Montesas too?

Greg,
You are a true craftsman. The work you have done to the wheels especially the front rim is fantastic. Like Mark said, I might feel all those bumps now..... I still need to find an Ossa MAR petrol tank and rear muffler, or something to suit.

Graham, at round 1, I might of been off my game and you won the twin shock class, which was a very good ride, but I gave you a BIG advantage by riding the overweight ITALJET Scott at the club day, so what happened? I'll even give you a sporting chance this weekend at Easter and ride the ITALJET again. Hopefully I can sort out my oil issue in the next couple of days. Actually Greg and I are doing a 4 stroke heavyweight twin shock challenge between us.

David, that is going to be a stunning looking bike. How is your next magazine article coming along, or will you need to do some in depth interviews over Easter and maybe even get some action shots of those 4 stroke heavyweights?

Definitely in-depth interviews with the protagonists hopefully beside a campfire and I think I will need a wide-angle lens for photos of the "heavyweights"

Hi Everyone,

Look at a man's workbench, you see his passions, his works in progress. The things that drive him crazy! Nice work David, looking like best presented bike at TY Challenge!

Chippy, dusted off the Heavy Old Non Directional Apendage tonight as I had to fit a lanyard and do some basic maintenance for the weekend. Will make and fit a shark fin and fire it up tomorrow night. Decided to weight the seat as it is heavy, 1.6 kilograms to be exact. Probably the worst place to carry weight, no wonder it is 100kg before adding fuel.

It would work in fine with our 4 Stroke Heavyweight Challenge and may be what you need to stop Chippy winning half the time!
