Back in November 1983, we didn't have Google Translate and I am not super proficient at translating but this is my summary of Eddy's answers:
1 )

I wish I'd read this beaut old Trail and Track article before last weekend's trial. There were so many tricky loose turns and cambers I could have worked on my technique

Here is an article in that great magazine that most of us bought and read every issue. I know I did and it even had a Trials page at the back at one stage. This one even features a real Trials Bike in it. A

I'm so glad you posted this one up. I remember the test from when it was published but sadly my copy of that particular T&T was lost to silverfish in the 1990s.
A line from that test has been stuck in my head for 43 years so far and is sometimes spoken out loud when describing the handling of a particular bike.
"bike x gets into position for the hard bits with the alacrity and intelligence of a quick-witted nymphomaniac".
The 1970s sure were an amazing era.

Wow! Those horsepower figures should have everyone shaking in their boots! I know I could just be a tad biased towards one brand of Trials Bike but I don`t care. Dare I actually say it but between the two bikes in this comparison I`d rather ride the Imitation Spanish Trials Bike!
