"Uplaod your best trials pics" actually has three meanings.
1. Your best picture ie. perspective, interest, artistic quality as well as the overall quality of the photograph.
2. Your pictures subject
3. The term "your" is central to the whole idea of posting a picture. Meaning that is the best picture you own to post.
Now under the three criteria above anyone can enter any picture and be proud of it.
I like looking at them all, so post away!!

As the starter of this thread I suppose I should add my comments!!
I think Starky has put it well under those 3 points. While I do appreciate what you are saying gasman and understand exactly what you mean, I started the thread more as a post so that everyone could put up their best pics, meaning it might be shots of other riders, the best shots they've got of themselves, whatever it might be.
I think as mentioned this thread would've been very boring without the likes of gasgasman and others putting lots of pics they've had about the place. Some are obviously better than others, but I find it enjoyable to look at them all and as long as someone doesn't post up 50 pictures of themselves that look the same of them riding along the flat on the grass then I think it will remain to be an entertaining thread!
Now my dad came out and took heaps of photos at the MTCQ Jimboomba trial yesterday but didn't format his memory card first, so we're just trying to find a way to get the photos off there without losing them all!

Hey mototstar,
Try using Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery 3.1. on your dead card. Its freeware that works exceptionally well. We had a similar problem with my wife's camera and it managed to recover the lot. You can
get it from
http://www.download.com.
ps....and the perverse side of me really wants to see your pics of Dad with his head stuck in a bush!!!!!

Hey Dad,
We're not unkind

.......Its just that somebody has to provide the light entertainment at trials(read-awkward and unco silly crashes!)... I should know that's my job description over here!

You should go get some tips from Motostar especially now that he's just won his class at the last trial.
Loved your pics....it looks like one of those unique trials with a bit of everthing in it.

well i managed to sort the camera probs... so here's a couple of pics from the weekend...
Thanks for the link gasgasman, but unfortunately it didn't cater for Fuji file extensions! But anyway, got it sorted in the end..
And sorry in advance Peter!
It was a great trial... there were sections on the side of the hills in loose dirt, down to wet slippery sections through the creek over plenty of rocks.. was a great day! And Peter received an encouragement award which I thought was well deserved after a tough day with a troublesome bike!
