I kind of suspect that frame mods have been happening ever since the start of trials competition and the Aussie rules on frame mods are quite open to interpretation.
It's just another reason why I am hoping the eligibility scrutineer at the Aussie Titles has the wisdom of Solomon and the patience of a saint.

I thought for one horrible moment that you would say the frame mods were done in 1964. I think the bike is Reg May's circa 1967 / 68 Bantam or a replica thereof.
