Competition licence club days?

Hi everyone,
I have been told that club day licences have been abolished. Can anybody confirm this?
I would like to go to a club day at pacific park in November join and do all the stuff for my national competition license but also possibly ride for the day in the club event.
I can't just renew because it's been 5 years and also had a name change.
