Thinking about a trials bike - Wollongong

Hi All, Chris from Wollongong here.
As per title I'm thinking about getting a trials bike for some fun and skills practice. I ride enduro often and like the challenge of steep hills and logs etc. but have never touched a trials bike.
Hoping you can help with some queries:
Is there anyone (Nowra to Southern Sydney) that hires trials bikes to test?
If I'm looking at 2nd hand trials bikes are any particular brands that have bigger ergos (pegs to bar reach) than others as I'm 1.91m tall?
Cheers,

Thanks for that,
I was mainly trying to find out whether a particular brand has more room (reach/wheelbase etc.) than another.
For example is a Gas gas bigger than a Sherco in stock form?
Cheers.

Chris
There a couple of businesses advertising on here that I believe may hire trials motorcycles as part of training days.
generally speaking, the modern trials bikes are all very similar now, with only slight differences in 'ergos' as you put it.
Generally a rider may change handlebars and/or add bar risers to suit but for the majority the bikes are fine as supplied by the manufacturer..
'Come n try' days are happening throughout the country this time of year as the season starts and that would be a great way for you to get a feel for the different models...
check out the videos on

Agree with Denis there, all modern trials bikes will be within mm's of each other as far as wheelbase, bar height, peg height, ground clearance etc etc. it is down to the way you set them up that will make the difference.
Handle Bars are available in different bends and heights from 3.5 inch to 6 inch rise, bar clamps are available in various rises, some have adjustment fore and aft as well.
Pegs are different widths, and can be set back or forward using supplied shims with some brands. So there is a fair range of adjustment available to suit different riders.

Thanks guys, I'll keep my eye out for test days and also look for a good deal on (undamaged) bike 2nd hand if they are all similar.
