Hi everyone,

With the clock racing down for the team as they prepare for France ,I'd love to see how much we the Trials community of Australia have raised? and how much we still need to find?

It would be fantastic to see an honour role for all who have supported the team!

cheers!
Justin

Hi All,
Just a little update on our TdN fundraising for 2016.

As the Manager for this years team I'm very happy with how things are going.I cant believe the support that we have received from the Australian Trials community.

In recent years our team budget from Motorcycling Australia has been around $50000 to $55000. This year we have $10000 from MA which will go towards Riders and Minders licences and insurance, entry fees and team uniforms.
We set a fund raising target of $25000 and the team members would have to make up the difference.

We have had several $2000+ donations, the Trials Club of Victoria, Oakleigh Motorcycle club and the Denman Motorcycle club.

We have also had a couple $1000 anonymous donations via our Go Fund Me page.

Kyle Middleton has been traveling around Australia running training days along with Justin Gough and the Trials Revolution Team, raising a couple of thousand dollars.

You may have seen our fund raising tins at events in Queensland, New South Wales , Tasmania, South Australia and Victoria
Raising around $2500 so far.

A special mention must go out to Ashley Silk and Darren Robinson who have both run fund raising events, Ashley had a photo fundraiser from the Tassie two day trial and Darren sold his wood fired Pizzas at the the Argyle two day trial raising over a $1000 between them.

Alistair Farquar Donated $500 to get Alexz Wigg to Canberra for Junior training day

Wayne Cottee from Redink Solutions $500 , Andy Daly $200,

As I said earlier the support from the Australian Trials Community has been unbelievable from clubs donating thousands to sub juniors at events putting their pocket money. We have also had quite a few donations from England and Europe.

If you would like to keep up to date with our fund raising efforts please check out our Trial des Nations Team Australia Facebook page.

Or if you would like to donate you can visit our Go Fund Me page at http://www.gofundme.com/AustralianTdNteam? or talk to myself or one of our team members.

Once again I would like to thank you all, that have supported this years team.

Regards.

2016 TdN Manager.

Hi all , there's two ways to look at most situations , the glass half full and the glass half empty! Phil , Kyle and the rest of the team have done great work this far in raising funds to send OUR AUSTRALIAN TEAM to Europe to represent US ,the trials riders of OUR country all of us in all our shapes sizes and varying abilities, and with out knocking the fantastic support shown by the trials community of Australia , my view is one of half empty as I feel we could have and should have done much more! We all know that most of us trials riders have got very deep pockets and extremely short arms. Let's face reality the vast majority of us are tighter than a fishes arse to say the very least and those that have helped out so far a very generous in doing so. I know that most have mouth's to feed and things are tough so lets put this into perspective , our Australian team needs help, first and foremost. That is a team as a whole ! Not just individuals of the team which we may have supported already , you might think you have done enough or you might even think why should I , Here is why, you all like to watch the big boys and girl of our sport in awe of their alien like abilities to ride some most often insane sections ! If you said no to that your either full of shit or have your head too far up your own arse to see anything! Without constant interaction with the worlds best riders we would not have that! We all have trouble with most trials related teqneqes and tricks , with out our best passing down what they have learned from the best we would never improve , I could go on for days about this but the simplest reason I can think of is because we are proud Aussies and we back our own! Quick calculation of rider numbers in Australia that ride on and off or full time is about 800 people, if we can manage just. 10 or 20 bucks that gives our team a fair whack to get closer to the actual number they need. Get onboard and prove that you love our sport in Australia and that you appreciate the TEAM representing us .Dig deep and see if ya can touch the lint in ya pockets every bit counts! Goffy
