G'day, what do you learned fellows reckon about the 2004 SHERCO125 as a first bike for a beginner who weighs 90kg?
Also, Any ideas on a freight option from VIC to Cairns?
Cheers to you all. Thanks in advance.
Luke

Maybe a 250 [90kg] would be more suitable, personally I get frustrated with anything under a 250 because not much[or less] happens when twisting the throttle.

Hi Luke777,
Fact: I have a 300 Sherco and my son has a GG 125. His bike will take me everywhere I go on my 300 (some steep stuff too and a lot of places or obstacles my son is not game to go up or over.
Opinion: For someone starting out I'd say a 125 is fine. The actual size of the bike is no different.
Most of the time, you can't compensate for poor technique with more power in Trials, it will just give you more trouble (again, my opinion).
and I'm heavier than you too

.
Cheers
Holy

Thanks Pop and Holster. You both have valid opinions and I think that it probably reinforces the fact that there is no other way of knowing other than trying them out for myself. Unfortunately I am yet to have an opportunity to even see one (trials bike) in the flesh let alone see them in action. I will exercise patience and save my pennies in the mean time.
Kind regards. Luke
