Does anybody know anything about the new "open solo 2" class at this years aussie titles? From what I can gather its a new class for people who don't fit into any age group categories but would like to ride the Yellow line.
Is this a championship class or a support class? Whats the difference? Im travelling over from Tasmania with interests of riding this class.

Cheers

The Keyneton MCC are offering support classes at the Vine Inn Barossa 2017 Australian Trials Championship, and one of those classes is; "SOLO-2" - and it is for all riders who want to have a ride on a modern bike on the yellow line, but don't fit into Youth or Masters!
Ideal for the 22-34 year olds, but open to one and all really, and calling it 'B Grade' just doesn't seem right, so they stole the idea from the World Championships (a bit).
This class will likely ride in the same sections as the Veterans - so there will be a yellow line in each group of sections - and will ride 3 laps of 15 sections each day - but the break down of who rides in each group will be determined, in the end, by entry numbers.
Hope this helps!

How did this end up going in 2017?

Was there enough support to push MA for it to become a Championship class, like Trial2 is in the WTC?
