Hi Gents,
Looks like I've run into a small problem with me Sherco.
There’s a small hole under the water pump and I'm seeing coolant dripping out of this. It's slow and only drips on the odd occasion. But I think it’s getting gradually worse.
What’s this hole for and what do you recon is the problem?

It`s an indicator weep hole, to let you know if the water pump seal is leaking.
There are two seals , one keeps the gearbox oil in, the other coolant. They both run on the same shaft, and this little bleed hole is between them. So you dont get coolant in the gear oil, or vise versa.
It`s an easy fix, and there is a brilliant photo, workshop manual ,section on the Sherco ,or Ryan Young websites.
Moto Central has all the parts in stock, so give your friendly Sherco dealer a call.
