Is anyone else having trouble staying logged in!

Post by Greg Harding »

Hi Everyone,

Having to log in 7 to 8 times just to do a post has worn thin, 5 to 6 times was OK for a while.

Sounds fairly annoying Greg. My Trials Australia account reliably stays logged in on my home PC (using standard Firefox browser).
Is it only Trials Australia that you are having problems with staying logged in?
Does it only happen while you are uploading photos?

Is it only Trials Australia that you are having problems with staying logged in? YES , only on this website, I have been using my 2 friends Copy and Paste on another website to do text and transfer here in an effort to beat what seems to be a 2 minute window of opportunity!
Does it only happen while you are uploading photos? Sometimes while uploading but seems completely random? My hair is getting thinner!

I suggest you try logging in using a different device and see if it still happens. If there isn't any other device available to you there, I can try it from here if you are game to let me log in as you.

To help work out what internet browser you are using, look for the little icon/symbol that appears somewhere on the screen when you open your access to the internet. The Microsoft browser symbol is a blue lower case "e" and the Firefox symbol looks like a photo of the earth from space but the land is actually an orange fox with a yellow tail

Yes. Having to type my reply in another application and cut and paste it here.

I am unable to view Trials Australia on my PC as chrome has decided to open everything with https.... Trials Australia is not a https site apparently. But I'll get through that one somehow...

Hi everyone,
David, I’m having exactly the same problem. Have to copy and paste the text & quickly do photos and cross fingers that it doesn’t time out while photos are uploading.
VERY frustrating.. I think that was under 2 minutes!?

Sounds like you all have something in common - Google Chrome as your browser.
We went to that at work and it has been a disaster.
You should be able to download a (free) Mozilla Firefox browser to get around the issues.

I'm using Google Chrome on a PC and am auto logged in when I open TA from a bookmark.
I haven't posted in years though, so this is a test to see if I get logged out while posting.
Purposely taking longer than two mins to post this.
So far no log out.
David's suggestion of trying Firefox is sound, as I needed to do this to view a different forum correctly.
