Hi we just got a ty 175 for my son he's 14 years old I'm wondering what oil mix we should use
The oil mix tank has been taken off
Is 50 to 1 a OK mix for trials use and some paddock riding
We hope to join up the Oakley club soon and start riding

Yes if your not flogging it 50:1 with a proper motorbike premix oil is OK.

I run mine at 60:1 in trials format and general around the paddock fun too. Never fouled a plug or had any issues.
I think half the equation is a good quality oil, rather than a who flung dung special.
