Help identifying old mono-shock bike

Post by coxy321 »

Hi all,

I've just picked up and old bike as a starter into trials and I'm struggling to work out exactly what make and model it is. Aside from the serial number on the head stem (AL17395), there are no stickers, mouldings or branding to identify the bike aside from a "MADE IN ITALY" on the inside of the rear guard - and I'm guessing this could even just be something like an aftermarket guard like Acerbis.

It has AJP disc brakes front and rear, air cooled two stroke, cable operated clutch, purple & white colour scheme, black plastic fuel tank, right-side kick start, left-side drive, 17" rear wheel and 19" front wheel, conventional forks with no adjustments.

Any help identifying the bike would be greatly appreciated. Everything on the bike works and it runs OK, I'm just hoping that I can get parts for it if I need to. Hoping the photos work!

Cheers!

Thanks for that Greg, much appreciated!

I'll have to stop in at my local Mecatecno dealer tomorrow and grab some new plastics for the old girl.
