Looks like a Bitsa I have to say whitehillbilly. Probably worked fine although the 250 engine may have been a bit under powered.

Brings back very fond memories of when sidecar trials was popular.
The small size of the rear sprocket looks quite unusual on a Bultaco trials sidecar. I figure it might be in road trim in the photo.
I remember having two chains and two rear sprockets for my 1973 Bultaco Alpina and it was usually a Saturday job to fit the trials gearing (and remove the lights) for a Sunday trial.

Hi David.
It was used daily on the road.
I had a 325 motor also. Cant remember why I put the 250 motor in.
Lot more road trials in those days, hence the map holder on the front of the chair.
