With no retail outlet in Melbourne for trials gear, how is one to get boots that fit?

Method 1. Try on other people's boots at a trials ride to find your size and order them from the supplier.
Method 2. Buy what you think is probably the right size and have them sent to you. If you are a bit out in the sizing, swap them for a different size (by post).
Method 3. Go to a trials event that a riding gear supplier is taking their mobile shop to and try them on there (it pays to pre-arrange this with the supplier so they have an idea what you are seeking). This is my favourite method.
Method 4. Go to a local shop that sells MX boots or Adventure riding boots and try on boots of the same brand as the trials boots that are available interstate, to find how that brand does their boot sizing.

If you want to measure your foot length and width, we can size that for you. Or take a trace of your foot and scan it, or send us the outline and I can do the same.
Most makes of boots have a EURO size on them and this is a constant. Footbed length is set. Width varies between brands, but a 45 in a HEBO will have the same length footbed as a 45 in a Forma.
Alpinestars are slightly different aa they are made to American sizing, but there is a EURO equivalent chart for them published by Alpinestars and on our product pages.
We also have a policy of if your boot purchase don't fit, return them to us, and we will send another pair to you no charge as many times as it takes to get you the right boot.
If you need any more help give me a call at The Hell Team 02.8424.6400, and check out our Trials boot selection at www.thehellteam.com
