Hello Fonzy,

I am not sure what your poll is about, someone at a trial asked me to write back to you. I posted a short report on my two european events as a courtesy to my friends and sponsors.
I do not need to make anyexcuses, I went and had a go, will be interested to see how you share your experience when you enter the world or European championships, where perhaps you will use a real name.
What I learnt in Europe doesn't seem to be doing my riding any harm, I see a real improvement as a result of the trip, so that makes my trip and all the challenges it envolved worthwhile.

Well said Kevin, riders like yourself, Neil price, Adrien Harry etc: who spend $1000nds to travel abroad to ride in a sport you love, can do nothing but help aussi trial riders at all levels. In a motorcycle dicipline as small as ours people slagging others down from their anonimus soapbox doesn't do anything to promote our sport!!!!

I second that motion!!

But although it's nice to know your out there doing your bit (BIG BIT!) for Ozzie Trials. For me, it's even better to watch you ride on home ground. 8) And I enjoyed every minute of it at Round 2.. :D

And I've gotta say. I like the fact that there's no time limit in Ozzie Trials. As I love the suspense............ just before the 20m splatter!!!

Keep it coming Kev and Col.

Best of balance.

I can't seem to see the point in this malicious topic of discussion (yet again). This should not be about personal attacks on riders who are out to further themselves and learn from those experiences.

From what I observed, Kevin Zar's score (and ultimately 1st placing) at the second round of NSW championships at Pacific Park recently, speak for themselves.

I have a lot of respect for people who go overseas to compete.

I keep telling you Kevin, your never to old to learn new skills and improve your abilities. :D

Its so obvious when you look at the level of rider ability in our top riders who have experienced international level competion.

Thankfully most of that has come about through their inclusion in the Australian TDN team.

To fund your own trip, with all the organisation and commitment that is involved, can only be looked upon with envy.

The new skills and techniques you acquire and bring home for us to see and learn from, really makes you as well as Adrian,Neil,Tom,Mitch and Boyd Willcocks worthy of our admiration.

The person who should be most pissed with you is a Colin. :P

I was not saying Kev is a bad rider or hasn't put in a huge effort to get where he is today in the sport of trials.
But................over the years his reports of trials are good for a read, however, unless he has won the event his constant excuse's for not winning are becoming a JOKE!!
Your finger was sore, your bike was broke........etc,etc.
Just admit you were beaten, END OF STORY!!

Dear Anonymous Joke - Fonzy,

If a rider takes the time to do a report or press release on an event, why should he not give his view on the event, and an assessment of why he may have performed below his own expectations if he feels he wishes to share that view? be that through injury or mechanical gremlins.

Maybe you should read some press releases from Doug Lampkin, Gas Gas, MOntesa, Sherco or any MotoGP or F1 team before you take to your anonymous soap box.

No rider expects to win every event. If you want to talk to me about my reporting style, come and introduce yourself and talk with other riders at the next trial, I'm running one for my club on sunday at South Maroota, or call me at home on 02 95277149 and introduce yourself.

best regards
Kevin Zarczynski.
