Hey guys got a local bloke here with an 01 Montesa cota 315R for sale. It has done very little work as i know him and i thought it would be a good bike to start getting into a bit of trials
Just wondering if you think its worth $4 grand???

I think the montesas are fine bikes, but at 4k I reckon you're probably at the top end of their value. If it needs absolutely nothing spent on it, and presents well (not to many dents and scratches, nice shiny plastics, is jetted properly and runs cleanly) your probably close. Knowing a bikes history is worth a few bob. It's hard with a mate, but offer him $3500 and negotiate from there. Be warned though - other folks might have a different opinion.

Well i know the bike has done very little work. My mate bought it brand new and never got into it. It has no dents and a few minor scratches here and there (typical trials) but he will not negotiate but i think i might take it being local and knowing what it has done plus he is very mechanical
