what to look for??

hi all i am keen on getting a trials bike in the near future.
what should i look for mechanicaly?
whats the engine life on the larger bikes (200-300cc)?
is there a ready supply of parts for the four major brands?

the first thing i look at is engine noks eg piston slap or big end noise the motor should sound smooth and krisp so if it pass,s that test chek movment in the ass end crab the seat and shake the rear wheel look at wheel bearings and swing arm movment .THEN head up the front chek front wheel bearings and the head set chek brake pads chek the bash plate it will be bashed and scatched but how bad is it craks in the frame or has it been welded . so lets say it pass,s all these things then hows it look for the price this place is a good place to get a value on a bike and if all else fayle,s take some one who nows about 2stroke bikes
