Very Fast Machine !!!

Post by Mark K »

For those that don't know me, I am the happy owner of a TY175B and it putters along just like you'd expect for such a machine. Its not very fast but its heaps of fun!!!!

I recently became the owner of a Nissan Nomad, so now I can put the TY in the back.... It goes faster than the TY but takes a while to build up to any decent speed, and isn't as much fun.

I also have at home a VERY fast machine!!! When I get on it, it can go from zero to over 140 in less than a second. I was just wondering 2 things..... 1) Can anybody beat that?
and 2) Can anybody guess just what my very fast machine is?

Probably not a trials bike, I hazzard a guess to a hyper sports bike like an R1 Yamaha or similar.
I would rather push my twinshock than ride a modern!

Even a hyper-sports bike will take about 3-4 seconds to get to 140.

Top fuel dragster maybe? Or an F1 car? :P They're about the only motorised vehicles I can think of that will pull those times.

But given your pride and joy is a Nissan Nomad, I'm tipping that expensive motorsports are not in your budget...

OK....
subanator, its not a bike..... of any kind.

And Keith, its the other way around ... the TY is my pride and joy, the Nissan is essential for transport. Sadly I can't even afford to look at an F1 or equivalent ... I wouldn't have one of them at home.

N*A*M, you're on exactly the right track .... 140 of what unit? !!!!

and PA, I can't get "ON" a radio controlled car, assuming you mean a model one.

Would it help if I told you I used to have an old one of these many years ago, but it only went up to 120, and that was completely useless to me.
The one I have now goes to 150 but I can only get it to go to just over 140. I wouldn't be too happy if I got on it and it went to 150. Does that help?
