Another (old) new guy

Hi all,
Been checking this lot for a while and finally desided to register.
I bought my first trials bike in 1975, a Kawasaki KT250A. I rode it in local club trials for a few years and I rode my first open trial as a C Grader in 1978 on my brothers TY250B, from memory at Clare in SA.
After about a year of being just out of the top three at events, while driving home to Broken Hill from a trial in SA, the mate (TY175 rider) and I desided to have a go at sidecars, as we got on well with the other S/car riders. Three weeks later the KT250 had a sidecar fitted, made from electrical conduit and road signs. Too our suprise we won the SA B grade sidecar title (oh for the days of NEEDING two grade for sidecars) in '79. We won the B grade title again in '80 riding a (blue) Bultaco 350 Sherpa T outfit before a permantent upgrading to A grade. Had several more years of fun riding against Deiner/Holmes, Greenhalsh(?)/Frick and co, before retiring when I joined the navy.
Rode a season in Victoria in 1993? on another (red) Bultaco 350 outfit ending up 2nd in the VIC titles, before parking the outfit in my mums shed.
Left the navy and moved to the Clare Valley in SA a couple of years ago and joined the Clare MCC. Have ridden the (red) Bultaco 350 a few time as a solo including a club demo at the local show and I am now thinking of making a comeback as a solo rider in the veterans class.
I still have the KT250 kawasaki in the shed (much the worst for wear) as well as the blue 350 Bultaco (in pieces in a box), a '76 TL125 S and the red 350 Bultaco that I have been riding. I hope to restore the KT, the two Bul's and TL to there former glory over the next few years, if I can find the parts I need.
Hopefully I will get to meet some of you at a trial somewhere in the future, just look for the old guy with a beard on an olb Bultaco.
