Cleaning boots

Used my new Novogar boots for the first time yesterday.
Now time to clean them.
Suggetions on the best product welcome, commercial or "grannies".

Hit 'em with the pressure washer while cleaning bike.

Once you clean the boots with a rinse off while washing your bike, I would hit them with Dubbin once they are dry and then leave them out in the sun , so the Dubbin soaks in, once you've done the dubbin acts as a waterproofing agent, well it won't make them totally waterproof if you stand in the river but it helps them.

If they are white. Use Hand cleanser on the white leather with a chux cloth to get the marks and stains off. rinse in water.

Don't use a high pressure washer on boots.
I work for the Alpinestar importers & I've seen people stuff boots by doing this. (All been MX boots so far, no Trials boots).
I've always just wet my boots & then used a brush to remove any lumps that don't wash off.
I normally let them dry in the shade & then apply a bee's wax polish.
Dubbin & Coachaline is good to. Rub it hard into any stitching as it will seal up the holes into your boots. Most boots have stitched mid soles & thats where most water gets in if your walk through creeks etc.

I use Sno-Seal which is beeswax.

After cleaning them.A couple of times a year.

Worked a treat on my Sorrel's and never rotted the stitching.
