been driving past menai lately, and went for a ride in there this weekend.
no police, no aboriginal land council....nothing.
Business as usual.....
Looks like the once every 5 years blitz is over and things are back to the way they have been for the last 30 years.
saw 2 guys on shercos there, and plenty of trail/mx guys there also...stay away from white rock, enter where there are no signs (none anyway) and you will be fine.

I saw the police trail bike squad riding out of menai sporting complex last week on there DRZ's.
I see them riding back into Sutherland quite regulary as they now have there own unit based there and I've seen them come back in pooring down rain and it had been raining all week and i thought how many people would have bothered to go riding in those conditions.
The past few weeks I think they have been focusing on Apec duties as I have seen the trail bike Squad patroling the airport.

bumpin up an old thread.
i go rideing at menai when im not going on long trips to ride up in the mountains, or go out there on a sunday arvo for something to do.
havent seen any cops, and there is so many people rideing there again.
it is no longer classed as aboriginal land, it is back under crown land by sutherland shire council.
A license and a registered bike, and you have every right to be in there.
yes there is still idiots out there with no helmets on ,and lebos rideing stolen bikes at white rock, but i ride in the tricky stuff in little forest near yamaha hill and barden ridge, that inexperianced clowns wouldnt even try and walk, let alone ride a trail bike
theres some good rideing out there, its a shame more trials guys cant enjoy it because their bikes cant be registerd.
