Bike "Hire" in WA

Howdy Y'all,

Looks like my next stint I will be located in sunny Perth for a few months. I don't know if there is many events between Dec and Mar, but I would like to get a ride in. Unfortunately I won't be able to get my bike over, as I don't have transport, and I will be using it to practice on my monthly week off at home.

So, I am looking for:
1. A bike, to loan/hire for practice/events.
2. A club, to join and ride in competition if available.
3. Riding partners - looking for A/B graders to go riding with. I ride B-Grade but have been out for a while and need the practice.

Bring on all the avid responses from our western brothers!

Cheers,
Your friendly neighbourhood ScorpaMan,
Scorps

Hi Scorps,
Seeing no other WA rider has responded, I will.
Seeing this will be between our seasons, sorry but no rides are usually organised during those months, as it will be the hottest time of the year and our off season. having said this, the calendar hasnt been finalised either.
But - there will be no shortage of riders wishing to practice and trying out their new bikes during then! Riding partners shouldn't be a too much a problem, just if they are available during then apart from weekends.
I will post a link on the local WA AJS forum to get the ball rolling for you over here. They have a closed club ground Trials Park that is available to AJS club members. Getting a bike to borrow/hire, just have to see what turns up.
Cheers,
Roger

Hi Scorps,
You might get in one event in that time frame, we are still awaiting the calenders from the two clubs.
As for a bike I might be able to rustle one up, your quite welcome to have a ride at my property, its only 5acres though but enough to blow out the cobwebs!!

Feel free to email me.

Howdy Y'all,

Thanks for the reply Mark. Looks like my stint will be starting in February and going for 3-6months. Be keen to catch up for that ride - 5acres is plenty if your not getting any!

I'll be in touch.
