Recommend a transport carrier East-West?

Post by Tee-Why »

Can anyone recommend a transport carrier for a bike and extra parts east-west or vice versa across Australia, or you experiences or advice?

Gday
I resently got 2 bikes down from Sydney first one was TNT :x will never do that again. So to get the next bike down I looked further afield and got on to a private trucking company in the paper. To cut a long story short most private contractors have depots in most capital cities that are used by lots of companys .I would just ring some backloading removealists out of the local paper. And Im sure they will point you in the right direction.Hope that helps .Good luck.

Thanks Derek, I will heed you advice, but shocked!

Have you managed to get you bike back or get compensation?

Also are you intending to ride Twinshocks (re TY250) in WA and would you if you had the chance to get another bike?

Cheers,
Roger

P.S. dont include your address in your signature, its a sure way of getting you bike stolen by unscrupulous individuals that lurk on the internet.
