KRYLON Paint

Post by Neo »

Hi all,

I preparing for a bit of TIG welding on my Sherco frame.

I’ve been told that KRYLON, RUST TOUGH, SEMI FLAT BLACK Paint (Stock code 2CK9203) is a good match to the Sherco Black. So my next challenge is to find an outlet for this paint in Australia.

I have attached a photo from “Solver range” of this companies products. Because you may have be seen these cans on the shop shelves someplace. As I’d guess that same shop should be able to get the Krylon, Rust Tough stuff.

Any help would be appreciated?

Best of balance.

Update!!

I've discovered that this is part of the Krylon Industrial range. And the can should look like the pic below.

two leads:
Krylon products are bought into the country by someone, we use a lot of their products in the film industry (available through John Barry's, Panavision etc) Not paints, but their other aerosol products like Dulling and Filter sprays.
and the hardware store (I think it was a Mitre 10) that was at Cammeray until recently kept a large selection of Krylon Paints. So they have to be out there somewhere.
We can crate and freight bikes Australia wide for very reasonable rates. Ring or email with your location for freight quote.

Neo,

Why not just take it to your local panel beater or auto paint supplier and get them to mix up a small quantity to match? I am sure you have a small air compessor (or know someone with one) and spray gun.
