Fuel TV & Trials

I can asume that like myself, most trials enthusiasts enjoyed the indoor and outdoor FIM trials events that were presented on Fuel TV earlier this year. Well for some reason it is no longer the case. I have contacted them to see if there are plans to keep it going or if it still is, to let me know what time it is shown. I can remember last year when it first came to light that Fuel TV were running a series and someone suggested that we all got on line to Fuel and showed them how many people are on the case. Well that might be what is needed now. If you feel strongly enough then log onto - http://www.fueltv.com.au - and have a say. I was reading a couple of posts earlier with valid views about the lack of exposure of the sport, well here is a way thats been done before but can be done again. Give it a go, as I miss watching the likes of Bou, Lamkin, Caberstany etc battling it out all over the world.Cheers

I think you may find that the 08 Indoor series has just finished showing. The 08 Outdoor series is running at the mo' so will not be on for a bit.

Still a good idea to show our support, for the sport, to Fuel TV.

yeah as kembro said, you've just missed out on seeing the 08 indoor series. I managed to catch the last couple of shows.

I think we should still give it some support and it would be good to see as many people as possible show interest to them in continuing to show the trials.

Wouldn't it be great if we got an Australian indoor championship happening that they could show, with some big sponsors like Red Bull on board... that's the days of trials i dream of!

Blokes I have worked in the Television industry since 1980, and they DO LISTEN to feedback, letter, phone calls etc.
I have some very good friends in at Fox, and I do lots of projects for a lot of their channels. You can influence the programming with a targeted campaign.
The more we can all let FUEL and FOX know we love Trials, the greater chance of us getting more.
Get everyone you know, from as many email addresses as possible to send them stuff.
THEY WILL LISTEN.

Cheers

Cheers guys,
I would like to say I feel like I have started something, but it's a cause, trials has been fighting since its inception, many moons ago. Well, that being said, I am going to make it my personal vendetta to hound both Fox and Fuel TV on a regular basis. As we all know a squeaky wheel gets the oil, so they are going to hear a constant sqeak from me. As Paul says, they do, must and maybe will listen to us if we all give them a going over. If Ultimate fighting and the likes are getting so much air time, we can only hope to see such a skillful, graceful and technical sport as mototrials get the same. Once again, cheers for the input.

Funny you mentioned the Ultimate Fighting, as my other feed back to them was for less of that. I'd rather my kids watching and being encouraged to try other action sports. Like Trials  Let them see the blood spill by accident, rather than deliberately.

It's back on. I have noticed that it is going to air on wed night and thurs day afternoon. I have once again been on to fuel tv.I'd like to think that it is the feed back thaat all are giving. I raised a point that Trials has got to be one of the oldest action sports. It is up there with skiing and surfing. In fact it ha sspurned quite a few other sports. I'd like to think that mountain biking, cycle trials and even BMX is to trials, what skateboarding is to surfing. Anyway, keep at them and we may get even more exposure.

Cheers
