Trials Tyre on my WR?

How will something like an IRC trials tyre go on my WR for bush riding? - you know - hard pack, hill climbs, rock gardems and so on (no high speed tar)

Performance
Trials tyres go pretty well on racing bikes except for deep gravel where they are hopeless. If you run enough pressure to survive hits against sharp edges, the handling will be strange when you tip the bike into a turn at speed due to the square edge of the tyre. If you run trials pressures, impact punctures will be hard to avoid and the handling will feel quite squirrely in turns. Massive traction on hardpack and rock. Hillclimbs great except if gravelly.
Wear rate
IRC, Dunlop and Michelin will wear out in a flash if you spin up the rear wheel much. Pirelli and Mitas trials tyres are much harder wearing overall. Mitas is road legal too.

Hey David...where do you buy Pirelli's and Mitas Trials tyres from?
Best of balance.

Thanks David - Good insight.
I ran my WR250F up in the bush above Wiseman's Ferry and realised a trials tyre would have helped alot (I don't ride hard, so I won;t miss the strength off the mx tyre).
Neo...sent you a PM/

Neo,
In NSW Pirelli tyres are distributed by Gavlin Marketing (Seven Hills)
They sell to most bike shops in NSW.
Mitas tyres were imported by Holeshot sports in Vic, but I haven't seen any around in NSW for years.
