A postcard from the Otways

This is what I have been doing lately.

After this ride I invested in body armour! After all you can only go so fast on a trials bike before you end up flying and a sapling locking the front brake at 50k's tends to launch you pretty good
It brings a smile to my face when I pass them big orange things and riders that are young enough to still have hair! I've had a couple of rides lately and these enduro bikes aren't so quick on the tight stuff and the Scorpa eats them on hill climbs. Not easy riding two hours flat out standing all the time only stopping to top up the tank from my numerous hidden fuel stashes. I am getting about 35 km range out of the standard trials tank which is pretty good. I usually end up in the lead but everyone complains they can't tell when I turn onto a different track because I don't leave much of tyre track behind and they can't hear my bike because it is so quiet.
Anyone wanting to do some trail riding with a rego'd bike is welcome to give me a yell.
