Hey trialsmutha are you a Bultaco fan or what? I'll bet you London to a brick that the front hub on the OW10 is a YZ item and the triple clamp forgings are identical to the production TY250.
The same YZ front hub is visible on the prototype of the production TY250 that Mick rode in 1972/1973 and the 1973 SSDT. I think we should be forever thankful that Yamaha didn't copy Bultaco brake designs.
Who knows what was going on inside the forks though. Nothing would surprise me there. I wish Yamaha had done a better job copying whoever they copied for the production TY250 forks as they are not quite up to the standard set by 1970s Betor standards.
