Montesa Cota 247 Fuel Cap

Can any one help?..........

I am chasing a fuel cap for a 1974 Montesa Cota 247. It is the "push seal" type not the "screw on" type. Is there one out there somewhere?

Montesa parts are often difficult in Australia, you could try

Both companies are excellent to deal with and carry some Montesa parts and can get most parts given time

I have dealt with all of these and they are very knowledgable and reliable wth excellent availability of parts and help.

I have also sourced parts from Spain but it can be slower and more expensive.

I know there are many others in UK, France etc but I have not dealt with them.

Ebay (evil bay) is also a rich source of parts. Good luck and I know that many of the suppliers above have the fuel cap you require. It is also very helpful if you get a parts book. Jared @ Southwest Montesa, John @ Rocky Mountain Montesa have parts books for most models.
