Where are they now?

Post by gazam »

Hi

Another question for the Queenslanders.

Below is a pic of a trials gathering in 1974. Do you recognise any of the riders? Where are they now?

At least one is still riding on a twinshock.

The guy on the left end beside the Kawasaki trailbike looks like Mal from Coorparoo but that bloke looks too old to be Mal in 1974. I can't remember his last name.
It's nice to see those old bikes looking so undamaged and new.
Val and Hagsta, have you seen this photo yet?
Hey gazam I haven't worked out who you are yet. By any chance are you a potential team member for a Three Hills team in trials competition?
relax, nothing is under control

The guy 4th from the right looks like my cousin. Although in 74 I think he was running a Husky. And that is obviously not.

He lived across the street from me his house adjoined the Seven Hills bushland.

Where was the photo taken.

Second from the right on the TL is Neil Weston (lived a few houses from me in Florence St). Fifth from the right on the TS I think is Gary Meares (GazaM ?????) whose son recently bought my Beta. Fifth from the left is Peter ???? who lived up past Tranters Ave near Skyline Drive. A few of the others are very familiar but I just can't put names to the faces...............Great photo by the way
