Hi

Can you tell me if a mid 70's TY 250 front mudguard will fit one for TY 175??

Yes they are one and the same part. The only one different in all of the TY twinshock front guards was the TY250A and it came without the steel brace and was coloured tober pearl while all the others are white.
The Mainly Maico fronts come without a steel brace but the Yamaha brace fits inside.
