Hi there,
Anyone know if there are electronic ignition systems available in Australia to suit a model #92 Bultaco Sherpa T 350?
I'm restoring one (slowly) and was looking to replace the crappy old points with set and forget, so i do not have to remove the "woodruff key shearing device" so often?
As you can probably tell, I'm new on here, so apart from the obvious companies in VMX mag, recommending any other places to go for early Sherpa bits or help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Cheers, Kendrick.

Hi Kendrick
I have fitted a early GasGas ignition to my M92 Bultaco, Ducati type it bolted straight up
the only thing that I had to do was modify the flywheel nut.
The other option is you can get one from Dave from Bultaco UK.

Hi kendrick
Don Newell is bris has them or wouldn't take long to get one - though i might think he would talk you into keeping the points system. Most would say points are superior and they don't take alot to adjust. But having said that, I have an old yamaha system on my M199 which is so far so good (touch wood)
