Hi,
I recently took a Gas Gas TXT250 for a ride that i saw in the classifieds. The front brakes would let the bike roll forward a bit during quite a bit of pull of the lever. I have never ridden a trials bike before, so am not sure if this is characteristic of a trials bike.
Wondering if this is normal or whether brakes may NR.
Cheers
Neale

No they bite like a shark if working properly. One finger neck snapper job.
You aren't being tricked by the floating disc mounts are you? The front wheel can rotate about 10mm at the OD with brake on due to the mounting arrangement of the disc. Have a close look at where the movement is happening.
It is pretty common that trials bike brakes need cleaning to restore them to full power after washing the bike or if something else gets on the disc and pads. Easy to fix though.
