New member with an RL question

Post by Doc »

Hi, I live Brisbane and I too have an RL250, well 2 at present actually but 1 is presold pending restoration and the other is my ride bike. Looking forward to having the second bike finished as it is my brother who is buying and more ride time will follow once it's complete  just a quick question, anyone know who stocks Gonelli mudguards in Oz?(Made in Italy) I can get them from O/S but b4 I send my $ out of the country I thought I'd ask first. Many thanks in advance, Doc

I'm making fibreglass RL copies among other RL components. I can keep you posted.

Thanks David, I never gave Don a thought  he's not far from here either so it could be gold.

Westy, would like to be kept informed. The Gonelli gaurds are to be fitted initially for riding/crashing purposes but it would be nice to have a pair of originals tucked away for when I/he feels the need. Been watching the other thread and definately interested when you start 'production'

Hi Doc, Two RL's!!!! You lucky bugger. I only have one but of course it stands to reason that one RL is as good as ten TY's......
If you are going to use a Gonelli guard on the rear then you may want to buy two because one is way too short. I joined two togeather and it looks fine.
