Thanks scott for posting the official note of the forum, even though we had to wait for their release. I find it funny that the dogs are baying for info ,but once posted ... nothing...zip...laughs. The sub committee attendees havent had the time to post their thoughts as they been busy doing the job pointed out by the forum.

Lyndon, everyone wanted to see the minutes of the meeting to ensure that we had a true record of what was said, a point that I raised at the very start of the meeting.
The minutes were good to see but more importantly we want to see action from the important issues raised on the agenda.
The thing that disappointed me about the meeting was that there wasn't enough time allowed, 4 hours including a 25 minute lunch break and a 25 minute discussion about SQTA which, it had already been established in our priorities, absolutely no one wanted to talk about.
The other item which was ommitted at the end of the meeting was "Any other business" and I for one had a couple of points to bring up but they can wait till the next meeting,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, !!!!!!!!
Anyway good luck to the Qld trials Sub committee and MQ to come up with some action plans and I look forward to seeing further notifications coming from both.

Firstly, we can only put forth the minutes of the meeting once they had "gone through the hoops". What gets me if people were so waiting for the results why werent they there? or those that were could of spoken up.
As for SQTA, I think (this is my opinon) the reason no one wanted to talk on it ,is that in the MA/MQ world of trials it isnt that important, If they wish to run that club so be it.
I do believe that we didnt have enough time, also i didnt agree to the splitting in groups. I think that a forum is that a forum, not groups reporting back. But this was the first one ,hope the next will be better.
I think that all state trials sub committees should look at the minutes, we should combine to bring the changes spoken of as well as ideas from thos committees. We the sub committees need more input from the riders, we all look upon this site to pick up what the masses feel. We should see the notes and minutes read by all members here and should see reply after reply, ideas flowing etc etc...that is really why i put my last post in, i hoping to see some reaction from site members.
Right now the Qld sub committee has broken itself up to sub groups working on alot of projects, i working on promotional and junior development , next year will prove to be a exciting year we hope with trials in QLD at least.
cheers all,
Lyndon Blake

It doesn't quite make sense Lyndon when it was MA/MQ that raised the subject at the end of the meeting.
Anyway, if we think we have problems in Qld's trials community what about NSW and the drama's that are going on down there.
I have seen this sort of bickering going on for the last 45 years, it will all blow over by the start of next season when something else will surface and stir us up all over again.
Lets stick to riding bikes
